COMPANIONS IN HOPE
Companions in Hope is a spiritual circle of all who pray for our brothers and sisters in Cameroon, West Africa. Through this blog we share information about the Center's ministry in Cameroon of clinical training and pastoral counseling. To our knowledge it is the first pastoral counseling service and training center in Africa. It grew out of the sacrificial commitment of African pastors to provide scholarship support for one of their own to study in the U.S. Among many Companions are Sandra Kruschwitz Hamilton DMin, John Hanilton DMin, Sharron Hawke RN, Mary Fran Hughes-McIntyre DMin, Vic Maloy DMin, Dennett Slemp ThM, and staff of Virginia Institute of Pastoral Care. Hope, the anchor of our soul
We boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God. And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
